It’s crazy to think how he still can loves us though all our mistakes, sin and shame. I by myself wouldn’t love me, but he still does.

"Get excited about the little things. About wearing a new outfit for the first time. About Sunday brunches with your best friends. About the new cute guy in your class. About finding an extra dollar in your pocket. About anything that even remotely makes you happy because as you grow up, passions fade and enthusiasm gets mistaken for foolishness. So don’t let the grey world stop you from shining."

"

With our mouths we pray, ‘thy will be done,’ but with our hearts we hope, ‘thy will match mine.’

Why would we limit a Sovereign and holy God to our human condition? We must learn to hope for immeasurably more.

The stars must think us mad! Because, we who were created in the image of the Creator, feel so alone. Do we not know that a star has never felt the warmth of another star? Yet, they continue to shine because they long to bring glory to God. All of creation looks at us, and they see how loved we are by the Creator, and they must wonder “Why do these souls feel so alone, when they have Him who is everything?”

Let us never forget that Christ came down in the form of man, because He chose to love us above all, because we were the ones who God made in His image, and said “They are very good.” and now that Christ died for us, God looks at us and calls us “beloved.”

"

The world says “My pain is more important than your pain!” and does nothing.

Christ said “It is finished” as He partook in the suffering that the world groans about, because God is a God of action.

This is why He is our hope; because everything else only has questions to offer, yet, Christ is Himself the answer. He is the bread that a starving world longs for, He is the water that a dying world needs, and He is the finisher of all that plagues our world.
